this morning i came to work and wrote a long drawn out letter to two of my best friends.

yesterday i didn't go to work. i needed a mental health day. it was a good thing for me. yesterday i wrote, i slept, i read, made an awesome peach smoothie (for which, sadly, i had no super vitamin protein powder).

yesterday morning i wrote about toothbrushes. you see, there are four toothbrushes in my bathroom. they hang out in a blue and brown pottery vase thing made by a friend of mine and given to me a few years back. and yesterday morning, they were all facing in towards (yes i prefer british english sometimes) each other, as if they were having an impromtu toothbrush caucus.
